I was in contact with Kathy Cowing before she passed away in 2010. Kathy sat in front of me in first grade. We belonged to the same country club for a while. Our parents were friends.There was a complicated history there but one that from my perspective turned out the better for everyone. 

My father was a fellow Rotarian of Frank Cowing. I believe he was Kathy's father. Fond memories of Kathy from high school, and her father from my dad's Rotary trips!

Kathy lived down the street from me. I helped her walk home from HF to Dixie and Birch in Homewood during the '67 snowstorm. She had fun parties/dances in her basement. I also connected with her in the couple of years before her passing. She was beautiful, and always very nice. Godspeed, Kathy....

One of the highlights from my time at H-F was the Viking Choir's trip to the Soviet Union.  I am hoping that a bunch of people from that group will be at Rudy's on Friday night.  Does anyone remember how to sing "Let there be Peace on Earth"?
